Characteristics and Properties
1. HPMC food additive is widely applied in food industry. In daily drinks and seasonings, it functions as a thickening agent, stabilizer, or taste modifier.
2. In addition, the food grade hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can be applied in ice cream, bread, cakes, biscuits, instant noodles, and quick paste food. It can not only shape product and improve flavor, but also retain water and enhance strength. This product has high degree of substitution, providing good stability and thickening properties.
